HAFTHOR BJORNSSON has given fans a health update after dropping a 200kg weight on his back.

The former World's Strongest Man and Game of Thrones actor was involved in a horror accident during one of his gruelling workouts.

After stepping back from competing, he went into acting and starred as The Mountain in Game of Thrones for five seasons.

The Icelandic athlete posted the clip of the mishap on Instagram and captioned it with a famous quote: "I broke my back - Mike Tyson.".
