Reflecting on her first encounter with the Gavin and Stacey script 17 years ago, Joanna shared: "I just opened the script and thought 'I know this person' and to have something where I can be Welsh and use my own voice, you feel so much closer to the character.
Joanna, alongside her co-star Larry Lamb, who plays Mick Shipman, dropped by The One Show on Wednesday to chat with presenters Alex Jones and Clara Amfo about the eagerly anticipated finale.
The final instalment of the much-loved BBC sitcom is set to broadcast on Christmas Day, where fans will see the Shipmans and Wests unite for one last hurrah.
