Women on TikTok are spearheading a pubic hair positivity movement after one Etsy shopper's review for swimwear went viral online. Since being posted on the e-commerce website, it has turned into an affirmation for women rebelling against long-held standards of beauty - including waxing or trimming the bush.

The craze began when TikTok influencer, who goes by the name @sujindah, shared how she had been 'radicalised' by the review of a bikini that included a picture of a woman 'that had a full bush' peeking out of the bottoms. 'Like yeah, that's how it should be. That's how it should be,' she continued, prompting a flurry of comments from women who expressed their overwhelming approval for the body hair trend.

'I can confidently say that people have told me my bush is showing out the sides of my bikini and my response has always been “why are you looking?”' one user replied. Another said: 'I feel so seen right now. My aunt literally just said she would pay me to shave before i go on my first cruise and I was contemplating but now? Full send, gonna shave everything but'.

[The pro-fuzz discourse sparked by @sujidah's TikTok later spread to platforms like Reddit where millennial women celebrated 'how far we've come as a society' while recalling the 'cringy ads' for razors they grew up watching]

One woman said deciding not to shave was the 'most liberating feeling in the world' while another added she had been 'full bush in a bikining for years' before the Etsy review opened the floodgates for pro-pubic hair posts on TikTok. 'Me since 2019. Never going back,' one comment read.

[While the seemingly-innocuous Etsy review has taken the internet by storm in 2025, this isn't the first time women have hit back against the idea that you have to be 'hairless to wear a bikini]
