All in all it's the 52nd time the current world champ has reached the last eight of a ranking tournament. Wilson trailed 3-2 against Jak Jones but took the last three frames in style. Breaks of 103, 68 and 64 did the trick. Results:. Anthony McGill 5-2 Zhang Anda. Wilson* 4-3 Jones (50-0). With two of the three matches over...all eyes turn to Table 1. A poor shot from Jones has let Wilson in again and this time, with the spread of the reds, he was punished.

Jones opts against playing on needing two snookers and now needs to win the next two frames to go through. You wouldn't rule it out in this topsy-turvy clash. Jones is now 21-0 up in the third frame... watch this space. Wilson misses two important browns!. The Warrior was eyeing a 2-0 lead before Jones had really settled. But the Welshman now has the chance to get on the scoreboard, all willing.

Meanwhile, Anthony McGill and Elliot Slessor have both levelled in their matches. World No.10 Zhang Anda is 1-0 against world No.40 McGill on table two. Zhang secured the 52nd century so far in this tournament. The winner of that match will face the winner of Wilson v Jones. This afternoon's three matches have all started. It's another clean pot from Wilson from distance. It's Kyren Wilson vs Jak Jones up now.

Wilson 0-0 Jones. The Welshman looks determined here... Wu Yize beat Alexander Ursenbacher 5-2 in their Last 16 clash this morning. Ricky Walden vs Barry Hawkins was set to be on at the same time but the match was called off after Walden withdrew on medical grounds.
