I never thought I'd ever buy a treadmill, but this handy piece of kit has been sitting next to my desk for a few months now, and I can't imagine life without it. When I first saw Amazon's Sperax Walking Pad Treadmill on sale, I started thinking about the convenience of having a walking pad at home.
The online retailer has once again reduced the price of the treadmill, cutting it from £299.99 to £179.99. I'm a gym member and go to classes several times a week, plus I enjoy outdoor walks, but there are times when I'm too tired to venture out, especially in the winter when it's cold and dark.
As a fully remote worker, I rarely leave my desk, whereas in an office environment, I would often wander over to colleagues for a chat or head to the kitchen for a cuppa. Almost every lunch break involved a walk around the block, but since working from home, my departures from the desk are limited to quick toilet breaks or grabbing lunch from downstairs.

The Sperax Walking Pad Treadmill offers a range of speed settings, allowing for anything from a gentle stroll to a full-on run. It features an LED display that accurately monitors your workout details such as time, speed, distance, and calories burned.
