GLASTONBURY fans reckon they've got the latest act for the Worthy Farm festival sussed. Eagle-eyed gig-goers have called out a legendary punk rocker - who found fame in the Eighties - as the latest star in the line-up. They now reckon Billy Idol's 2025 tour dates give the biggest hint the 69-year-old will rock up at Glastonbury with hits including Eyes Without A Face and Rebel Yell.
London-born Billy, real name William Broad, will bring Idol Live! to the UK this year. Yet he will only play a single date - in June - the month of the iconic festival. White Wedding hitmaker will head to Milton Keynes on Sunday, June 22, for a stint at the Forever Now Festival.
Fans now reckon it's a coincidence Glastonbury kicks off three days later, running in Somerset until Monday June 30. One fan was now quick to remark on Reddit: "He wasn’t in the U.K. at all last year and coincidentally he is booked near to Glasto…".
Another posted: "That would be a nice change of pace from the others announced.". A third then wrote: "Would be magnificent.". One added: "He has to be really, all the other festivals have announced their lineups and I can't see him coming here for one show.".
Billy was previously blasted for his "shambolic" Glastonbury stint three years ago. Towards the end of his Saturday afternoon Glastonbury show, the music legend ended up swearing twice. Billy Idol and Steve Jones collaborated on stage, combining Generation X and the Sex Pistols.
