THERAPIST (1.15 Lingfield, nap). She has been knocking on the door on the Flat and over hurdles and went close over 1m2f here last time. She was doing her best work at the finish there and Nicky Henderson wisely ups her to 1m4f here. That can make the difference off a handy mark.
WHIZZ BY (6.00 Southwell, nb). Can speed to a hat-trick. She has been in corking form over course and distance, winning her past two nicely. A 5lb rise in the weights gives her a bit more to do but it’s still early days and Tom Ward’s filly can defy the handicapper again.
PARADOXICAL (4.30 Southwell, treble). Had plenty left in the tank when scoring at Lingfield on New Year’s Eve. She relished the step up to this trip and has more to come. STARDANCER (5.30 Southwell). Looks good for the Lucky 15. He showed promise on on debut at Newmarket and was just denied here last time. He’s got more to offer on just his third run.
