Huge Coronation Street star reveals they're leaving ITV soap after four years - becoming FIFTH actor to say goodbye to the cobbles in a month

Charlotte Jordan has announced that she is leaving Coronation Street later this year, after starring on the show for four years. The actress, 29, first joined the ITV soap in November 2020 as Rovers Return barmaid Daisy Midgeley. She has been part of a number of hard-hitting storylines, including being stalked and facing a horrific acid attack on her wedding day, for which she won a British Soap Award for Best Dramatic Performance in 2023.
However, Charlotte revealed on Tuesday that she was bidding goodbye to the cobbles to 'explore other opportunities'. In a statement, she said: 'My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish. After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.”.
