Now, Hugh has broken his silence as he took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share his first post since the photographs emerged. He re-shared a post from Deadpool & Wolverine's executive producer Wendy Jacobson confirming the movie had nabbed a string of award nominations.

The Marvel epic has been put forward at the 61st annual CAS Awards for Sound Mixing and Best Achievement in Decor/Design. It has also been nominated at the 2025 SAG Awards for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture.
