There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of lighting a fresh scented candle at home, particularly after a thorough clean-up session - it feels like a well-deserved treat. Over time, I've burned through countless candles, especially during the chilly winter months when they lend a certain warmth and atmosphere to your living space.
While winter typically makes you think of fragrances such as cinnamon, apple or red berries, I recently stumbled upon an absolute bargain of a candle from Home Bargains that smells just like a highly coveted designer scent costing hundreds of pounds - and it's suitable for all seasons too, reports Teesside Live.

When I picked up the striking Red Sunset candle, part of the Heaven Scent range by Wax Lyrical, I instantly recognised the designer fragrance it was inspired by. Baccarat Rouge 540, crafted by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, has been a cult favourite perfume for years. However, with a price tag of £245 per bottle, the last thing I wanted to do was waste it by spritzing it around my house - although I have been tempted, given its absolutely divine smell.
But now there's no need to, as this £3.99 candle is a perfect match for the sweet, spicy and romantic aroma. The candle, much like the perfume it's inspired by, releases a unique and delightful aroma filled with floral and woody notes. I chose to place it in my hallway and let it burn for a few hours, creating a welcoming scent as soon as you step through the door.
