'I'm swapping my New Year's Eve dress for a jumpsuit and it's in the Debenhams sale'

When it comes to winter partywear, dresses have long dominated the high street options, and if I’m perfectly honest, I’m a little bored of the same old silhouettes. But this month, I’ve found the ultimate alternative to shake things up so I can ring in the New Year in style this December 31.
Debenhams has smashed their going-out outfits this season, with a festive campaign fronted by big name stars like Elizabeth Hurley and Hannah Cooper-Dommett. The high street favourite released dozens of new-in styles for Christmas parties, and one in particular from Warehouse has earned the coveted place as my NYE ensemble.
The fashion brand’s Hand Embellished Sequin Plunge Neck Fringe Jumpsuit was one of many I’d ordered online as a potential option to wear as I dance the night away into 2025, but from the photos online, it didn’t immediately win me over. But when it arrived, I knew it was the one.

The jumpsuit features a daring plunging neckline which instantly gives it a sultry vibe, but doesn’t lend itself to any wardrobe malfunctions, with no tape needed to keep everything in place. Coming in a dark charcoal shade, it’s a refreshing change to black, which tends to wash me out anyway, making it a flattering alternative.
Adorning the jumpsuit is an all-over hand embellishment sequins which catch the light beautifully. But my favourite part has to be the dramatic fringe detailing , which shimmies and shakes when you walk or dance. Plus it gives it a subtle western aesthetic and, because of the wide leg design, I can even wear my trusty, flat cowboy boots with it, and still look polished without compromising on comfort.
