Inside Boy George’s secret plan to turn his fortunes around as Culture Club wrestle with debts of £12million IT’S been a pretty miserable time for Culture Club recently, as they’re having to pay £12million in repayment debts to tour giant Live Nation.

Last week George, who has sold more than 50 million records with Culture Club worldwide, surprised fans by releasing new EP The Host featuring two new tracks from himself and two from Petshop Boys inspired band We Are Brando.

Opening up about how he has struggled over the years to make music and often considered giving up, George recently said: “I used to be terrible [ at writing songs ] but then I read about Bowie going back to Fame fifty times and going, ‘Maybe not today, but tomorrow.’.

As well as working on new music and doing a stint on Broadway, we can reveal George is secretly working on a new version of his hit musical Taboo.

A source said: “It’s currently at the talks stage being worked on behind the scenes but George is really excited about the possibility of Taboo returning to the West End.
