TV chef Gino D'Acampo reportedly had a huge falling out with fellow chef and ITV co-star Gordan Ramsay while the pair were filming for their show, Gino's Italian Escape, and Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. The celebrity chef, 48, sent shockwaves last year when he announced that he would "not film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road Trips" – citing contract disputes and behind-the-scenes issues as his reasons for stepping down.

Gino – who has been accused of "distressing" and "sexually inappropriate" behaviour in an ITV News probe – teamed up with First Dates host Fred Sirieix for an ITV series titled Emission Impossible, which was released in December. The show aimed to shed light on the global warming crisis as the pair journeyed through Austria and Croatia. However, Gordon, 58, has been left out of the latest series – which has only fuelled the feud rumours. The popular programme featuring the trio previously came to an end when Gino decided to exit.

Following his departure from the show, feud rumours emerged as fans pondered what must have happened between the trio for Gino to leave the hit series. However, the This Morning star shut down rumours immediately. In April 2023, Gino explained 'what really happened' and what led to his departure of the show, while adding there could be a change that may see him return – a move which evidently didn't come to fruition. It was reported at the time that contracts were to blame for his show exit, but that the news had "blindsided" his pals.

While appearing on Good Morning Britain back in 2023, he explained that the production was constantly being moved. Gino revealed he quit the show after he'd been told to keep May free for filming, only for it to be moved to the end of the year. He said that he and Fred were both left in the same predicament as they suddenly had no work planned for May, having been told in January they'd be filming throughout this month.

Gino said he was then left "stressed" to learn the dates had changed again, and it was this upheaval and a contract he could not commit to that led to him stepping down. "I love the boys, we have a great friendship, that is not the problem. As I said in the video it's the contracts. Sometimes they get very overcomplicated and the main one was about the dates, trying to get the dates together," he said during the interview.

"We tried and got the dates and then the dates got cancelled, then we started with other dates but they got cancelled again. Then I thought, 'You know what? I can't do this anymore this has become too stressful I don't wanna do this'.". However, an inside source at the time claimed that Gino’s exit came as a shock to "everybody connected" to the show. "As far as bosses were concerned, talks were ongoing and a settlement was in reach," an insider told the Mail Online. "Contract negotiations are always difficult because of the trio's schedules so the filming window where they can actually get the three of them together is pretty tight. But clearly Gino has lost patience and pulled out.".

Meanwhile, many fans pointed out Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip, is produced by Gordon’s production company Studio Ramsay, which launched in 2018. Gino played down reports of a rift between the pair and hinted at another season of the successful show. He said: "We've all been friends for a long time. "Gordon text me yesterday saying 'How are you buddy?' And I just spent five days with Fred on holiday in Sardinia. We love doing it and it's very much on the cards. We want to do Australia next.

"But the main issue is two very busy individuals - Fred and Gordon - and one guy who only works six months of the year. Right now Gordon is the busiest so Fred and I have filmed something together instead.". Gino's apparent feud with Gordon comes as dozens of people have detailed experiences described variously as "unacceptable," "distressing" and "horrendous" while working with him over a period spanning more than 12 years. Responding to the claims in their entirety, in a statement to ITV News, Gino said: "I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.

"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me. "Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.

"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting.". The TV chef who has appeared on the likes of ITV's Family Fortunes and Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible faces accusations dating back over ten years. Individuals are said to have been fearful of any consequences if they ever spoke of their alleged encounters with the 48-year-old.
