Jeremy Clarkson is best known for fronting TV shows like Top Gear and The Grand Tour, and more recently, his hit reality TV series Clarkson's Farm. The 64-year-old, who also hosts Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, has been a prominent figure for over three decades. He first made his mark in 1988 with his major TV role after gaining recognition as a motoring journalist.
Besides his TV exploits, Jeremy is also known for his outspoken and somewhat controversial nature, particularly on social media. Here, we delve into the TV star's life away from the cameras, including his health struggles... Born in Tickhill, West Riding of Yorkshire, Jeremy has been married twice and is a father to three children. He tied the knot with Alex Hall in 1989 as his TV career was taking off, but she left him for one of his friends after six months.
In 1993, Jeremy wed his manager Frances Cain, daughter of VC recipient Robert Henry Cain, in a ceremony in Fulham. They settled down in Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, reports Gloucestershire Live. Jeremy and Frances had three children together; Emily, Katya and Finlo. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2014, and they went their separate ways.
Jeremy has been in a relationship with Irish farmer and actress Lisa Hogan since 2017. The couple runs Diddly Squat Farm in Chipping Norton, which is the focus of their Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm. Besides farming, Jeremy ventured into the hospitality industry by opening The Farmer's Dog pub in Asthall in August 2024.
