Ipswich 1-2 Southampton: Southampton netted late at Portman Road to secure what could prove to be a vital victory in their battle for Premier League survival. Despite entering the game as the Premier League's lowest scorers, Ivan Juric's side drew first blood at Portman Road thanks to a volley from Joe Aribo. The visitors have consistently demonstrated defensive vulnerabilities this season however, and Ipswich were back on level terms just ten minutes later.
Liam Delap exploited the visitors' high line before sliding his strike beyond Aaron Ramsdale to mark the ninth goal of the season for the England youth international. A point would have seen Ipswich climb out of the relegation zone but they were unable to hang on and were undone when Paul Onuachu netted a winner from close range in the closing stages.
