Noah Dingle is playing a key part in a new storyline with Joe Tate on Emmerdale. Noah is the son of Charity Dingle and Christopher Tate, but his half-sibling Joe Tate has not long returned to the Dales. Whilst Noah was initially not happy to see Joe back in the village, he has started to come around to seeing Joe on the Dales. In fact, Joe has been seemingly supporting Noah with his new business - but viewers know that is all a ruse. In recent scenes, Noah was seen lamenting about his struggle with his business - but Joe seemingly had his own plan up his sleeve.

Suggestions Noah could join him in Dubai and Charity was horrified to hear Noah was considering it. However, viewers know that Joe wasn't actually on the phone to anyone in Dubai - so what is he really planning? Just a couple of years ago, Noah was accused of stalking Chloe, stealing her phone, journal and keys. "Right now, I don't think there's anywhere back unless he gets serious help and has a serious few conversations with people about mindset and the way you just think about women and how you act around women," he said back in 2022.

"With his past around girls and how he's not really acted in the right ways around girls in the past and with his mum, Charity, and her very interesting relationships throughout him growing up, I think it's all had a really negative effect on his view on women and how he should act around women. I think he's really got it all wrong.". Joe's return, meanwhile, has thrilled viewers as Ned Porteous reprised his role. Quickly, Joe got established in the village and has started an affair with Dawn Taylor, but Kim Tate is getting suspicious.

Ned told us: "It’s so much fun playing a villain. There has been this very dramatic unplanned death that, as well as the devastation caused, also leaves lots of questions of why, in fact, is Joe even back? There are multiple sides to Joe and you will see him go to dark places. He is a control freak and he’s afraid of showing his true feelings. "I don’t want to give the game away too much, but there could also be something else sinister going on. The things you can’t buy in life, potentially, become the most important to him. It’s also safe to say I’m not too sure many of the villagers are that happy to see him back! But the truth of why Joe has returned will, in time, come out.".
