Jade Thirlwall has revealed she realised her boyfriend Jordan Stephens was 'The One' after his sweet gesture to cheer her up following Jesy Nelson's shock exit from Little Mix. The singer, 32, has been dating the Rizzle Kicks frontman for four years, and in a new interview, she recalled that she first realised he was a keeper when he bought her a pasty from Greggs to lift her spirits.
Reflecting on Jesy's exit from Little Mix in 2020, Jade told The Louis Theroux Podcast that she 'broke down in tears,' when she decided to leave the band, and Jordan's response was to fetch her a treat from the bakery chain. She said: 'We were driving up North to see my family. I just wailed and wailed for an hour or something.
'We parked up at services and he was like, ''do you want some peace?''. And I was like, ''yes''.'. 'That's when I knew he was a keeper because he was like, ''are you alright on your own for a little bit?''. I mean, I couldn't actually speak. So I was screaming.
