Rihanna has emotionally led the heartfelt tributes to Lynn Ban - a celebrity jewellery designer and star of the Netflix show Bling Empire: New York - who passed away, aged 52, weeks after a ski accident. Lynn's son Sebastian announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday morning, which came less than a month after the reality TV star had undergone emergency brain surgery for her injuries as many celebrities flocked to the comments section to share their condolences.
Rihanna, 36, wrote: '2025 is rocking me at this point! This is too much!!! Lynn you will always be our fairy godmother! Love you forever and always! Can’t believe I’m writing this in a comment section rn! [single tear and heartbreak emojis] Thank you for all the joy you brought to us!'.
The reality star and the Diamonds hitmaker had worked together for years including jewellery for her tours, appearances, music videos, and Fenty Puma collections. Lynn was the owner of Lynn Ban Jewelry as her designs have been worn not only by Rihanna but also the likes of Beyonce, Madonna, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, and many other A-listers.
