James Bye has admitted there was a moment in the live episode of EastEnders last week where co-star Lacey Turner ‘saved’ his ‘skin’.

Following his departure, star James Bye took to his Instagram Stories to thank fans for the support over the years, and also opened up about the live performance.
Continuing to praise his best friend Lacey, James noted a particular moment: ‘She came back and delivered that performance on Thursday night and to be in it, and to be part of it was amazing.
It featured Denise Fox (Diane Parish) finally making her decision between Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), as well as Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) giving birth.
