Jamie Carragher piles on the pain for Ange Postecoglou with ruthless Everton jibe

Jamie Carragher tore into Tottenham after they went 3-0 down to Everton, calling them "a mess" and "naive" - while also insisting Ange Postecoglou's side cannot blame their injury crisis on their current slump. Spurs have sunk to 15th in the Premier League table after a woeful run of form that saw them win one of their last nine matches.
The team had 12 senior players unavailable for their trip to Everton and Postecoglou's players have certainly struggled to get into their groove without their most talented stars - but the manner in which they have lost games has been most concerning.
Tottenham played a back three at Goodison Park and looked all at sea as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Iliman Ndiaye got the Toffees up and running, before Archie Gray's own goal put them in dreamland. Dejan Kulusevski later pulled one back in the second half before Richarlison added a late second for the visitors.
But it was too late for Spurs. And Carragher ripped into Tottenham's first-half display, questioning their organisation as a team and insisting it was not acceptable to be losing 3-0 at half time to a struggling team like Everton. "Tottenham are just so naive in everything they do," the Liverpool legend said on commentary duty. He later added: "It's a mess! This will be 12 Premier League defeats if they lose today. You can't lose more than half your games. I know there are injuries but this is Tottenham. You can't be getting beaten 3-0. at half time. against Everton.".
