Leicester forward Jamie Vardy wound up Tottenham fans by reminding them how the Foxes beat the London outfit to the Premier League title in 2016 after scoring in their surprise 2-1 win on Sunday. Spurs were dealt a 13th defeat of the season by Leicester in a result that piles the pressure on manager Ange Postecoglou, with Vardy cancelling out Richarlison's opener before Bilal El Khannouss netted what proved to be the winner.

Vardy, who also scored in the 1-1 at the King Power in August, was presented with a tap-in after Bobby Decordova-Reid's cross was rebounded to his feet - and he made sure to rub salt into the wounds with his celebrations in front of the Spurs faithful.

The 38-year-old stared at the crowd before gesturing the number one and pointing to the Premier League logo on his shoulder. He then pointed to the Spurs fans and gestured a "zero" before laughing as he wheeled away. Tottenham had emerged as surprise title contenders under Mauricio Pochettino in the 2015-16 campaign and the most realistic challengers to Leicester after the Foxes' incredible season that saw him win the title.

Spurs ended up faltering in the race and finished third behind Arsenal, picking up 70 points and ending up 11 points behind eventual champions Vardy's Leicester. Leicester's win sees them move to 17 points, one point clear of the relegation zone, while struggling Tottenham were left fearing a relegation scrap themselves after picking up one point from seven league games.
