Vice President Kamala Harris was ridiculed online after she re-emerged in public in the wake of her election defeat at the hands of Donald Trump. Harris appeared at Prince George's Community College in Maryland to deliver a speech encouraging her younger followers not to lose hope and to look to the future on issues they cared about.

In a speech to 'young leaders,' Harris attempted a flashback to the early days of the campaign and the viral 'coconut tree' memes that showcased her awkward brand of humor. 'I ask you to remember the context in which you exist,' Harris said to muted laughter in the crowd.

It was a nod to one of her many infamous 'word salads' that went viral on the campaign trail. But many on social media mocked the failed presidential candidate for trying to stay relevant after her loss, accusing her of being out of touch. 'Although this is funny, let us not forget how many people voted for her. Truly a troubling sign for our country,' wrote user Neil Johnson.

'She should be forced to sit in a room alone and watch her own videos. She has the intelligence of dirt,' wrote Juanita Broaddrick on X. Vice President Kamala Harris arrives to speak to students and recent graduates at Prince George's Community College, in Largo, Md.

'Baffled by her own BS,' Marc Menninger agreed. Others viewed the 'cringe' video as a reminder of how lucky the country was that Harris was not elected president. 'We cannot thank President Trump enough for saving us from four years of this,' wrote Logan Hall on X.
