The Princess of Wales opted for a boho chic ensemble in her family's annual Christmas card which was released this afternoon. The heartfelt card image shows William and Kate in Norfolk, alongside their children Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis.

The image was taken from the video released by Kate in September which confirmed she would return to public duties following the completion of her course of chemotherapy. The post on social media said: 'Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas' - with the words inside the card saying: 'Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.'.

In this snapshot, the mother-of-three looked effortlessly sophisticated in a striking patterned ensemble. Kate looked stunning as she sported the Veronica Beard Castella floral dress, which costs around £533 and is currently sold out online. When she released the clip, the future queen was seen running around with her children in her white Veja trainers, which cost around £120.

The Princess of Wales also decided to wear minimal makeup and wear her long glistening brunette tresses down in a natural wavy blow-dry. The heartfelt card image shows William and Kate in Norfolk, alongside their children Princess Charlotte , Prince George and Prince Louis.
Kate's relaxed ensemble also matched her daughter's casual, summery outfit as Charlotte was snapped wearing a white shirt blouse with a navy striped jumper wrapped around her waist. William was seen in a light blue chequered shirt along with a pair of dark blue denim jeans, which matched Prince Louis and Prince George's choice of cobalt t-shirts.
