Katherine Ryan has denied turning to controversial weight loss jabs after her own daughter accused her of using them to slim down. The mother-of-three hit back at eldest child Violet, 14, after the teenager convinced herself that she was on Ozempic - a diabetes and anti-obesity medication commonly favoured by celebrities as a quick and efficient weight loss treatment.
Katherine, 41, revealed she had been approached by Violet after the youngster watched a handful of cautionary videos about the drug - of which vomiting, stomach pain and constipation feature among its many potential side effects - on social media. Addressing followers on Thursday, she said: '[Violet] said to me the other day, "Mum, there's like people on TikTok who are going to hospital and they're getting very sick because they're taking Ozempic.
'I can actually tell that you're on Ozempic.'. Despite insisting she had never taken the drug, her daughter remained unconvinced. Katherine Ryan has denied using controversial weight loss jabs after her own daughter accused her of using them to slim down.
