Katie Price furiously hits out at claims she 'misused' blue disabled parking badge risking fine

Katie Price has furiously lashed out after claims she "misused" a blue disabled parking badge. The star, 46, is currently appearing in a pantomime production of Cinderella at Northwich Memorial Court. The production, in which she appears alongside her pal Kerry Katona, opened earlier this month and is set to conclude on Tuesday night. Former glamour model Katie was seen arriving at the venue on Sunday with her partner JJ Slater, 32. Photos of the former Married at First Sight star arriving alongside a hooded figure were published by The Sun on Monday.
The outlet alleged that Katie risked a £1,000 fine by displaying a blue disabled badge despite Harvey Price, 22, - who's been diagnosed with several conditions including Prader–Willi syndrome - reportedly not being in attendance. Reports claim that Price and Slater parked a Nissan on the pavement, subsequently blocking the walkway.
The Government website states that it's a criminal offence in England to "misuse" the badge, adding that doing so "could lead to a £1,000 fine and confiscation of the badge". The guidance states: "This includes people other than the badge holder taking advantage of the parking concessions provided under the scheme.".
The guidance also states that people should not park "where it would endanger, inconvenience or obstruct pedestrians or other road users". This includes parking on a pavement, "unless signs permit it". Katie has since hit out at the claims and insists she's done nothing wrong. Addressing her Instagram fans, she said: " Just for the record, there's paparazzi outside the theatre every morning trying to get pictures. And because I've got Harvey with me, yes, he has disabled badges, and we drop him off around the corner and then drive by the back door so we can get some privacy for him and us going in and out.
