Katy (born Katheryn Hudson) literally had sparks flying in her long black hair as she turned her back just in time.
Turns out a female member of Perry's KatyCat fanbase accidentally grazed her elbow against the transformer, briefly setting her coat on fire, but there were no injuries - according to TMZ. Once safely inside, the 13-time Grammy nominee made no mention of the explosion to the host during the interview, but she did announce her 76-date The Lifetimes Tour kicks off April 23 at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
