As 2024 draws to a close, it’s safe to say that this year was really not one of the royal family ’s best. From three cancer diagnoses affecting King Charles, Princess Kate and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, through to Princess Anne’s terrifying horse riding accident and now the ongoing spy scandal involving Prince Andrew - the year could not be over quickly enough, as far as many of the royals are concerned.

However, despite that rocky year, King Charles appears to be in high spirits and eagerly looking forward to 2025 - albeit while continuing to "take things one day at a time”. Yet despite his eagerness for a return to normality - which should include much more travel - Princess Diana’s former astrologer Debbie Frank warned that the monarch will have to “pace himself” if he wants things to go smoothly.

Speaking to HELLO!, Debbie revealed: ”After facing a serious health issue in 2024, the monarch continues his ups and downs in 2025. He will grab the highs, giving them his all, and then feel frustrated at some setbacks. Both he and Camilla are slightly on the back foot as 2024 draws to a close.”.

In particular she cited a need to “cut back” in late February to early March, and by late Spring will be keen to chase his desire to “fulfil his dreams” and once again travel. Throughout the year, but in particular in May, Debbie explained that Saturn will “challenge him to be realistic and practical” about his limitations and capabilities, with the planets seemingly set to remind him of his limits by early June. However, despite a few hiccoughs throughout Summer and beyond, by December, the astrologer firmly believes that the King will be feeling more energetic.
