Following the blazes, which destroyed thousands of homes and structures, the Veronica Mars star said she thought all 2025 awards shows should be canceled so the money could go to fire victims.
Bell was announced as the 2025 SAG Awards host last November before multiple wildfires broke out in the Los Angeles area.
She later came to the realization that “these awards shows are a huge part of Los Angeles' economy, employing hundreds, if not thousands, of gig workers: drivers, hair and makeup artists, musicians.”.
Bell, who returns to host the Sunday ceremony, is also competing for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in ‘Nobody Wants This’.
That night, Bell posted an Instagram video showing her podcast husband with his phone propped between his legs at the awards show.
