She played a young woman determined to find her soulmate on Sex And The City. And Kristin Davis also has her own real-life dating horror stories to share. The actress, 59, revealed she was ghosted by a struggling actor whom she lent $5,000 to. Davis did not reveal who the man was, only that he is now 'very successful' and that the relationship occurred 'a long time ago'.

She ended up lending him $5k before he 'ghosted' her - prompting an irate Davis to confront him at his apartment door. Davis recounted the ordeal on the second episode of her new podcast, Are You A Charlotte?. Kristin Davis has revealed she was ghosted by a struggling actor whom she lent $5,000 to.

While Davis speculates the relationship may have occurred before she made it big on Sex And The City, she still had enough money saved up at the time to offer him the loan after she realized he was struggling to pay his utility bills. 'A long time ago I was ghosted. I don’t know exactly. It’s hard to define the term "ghosting" exactly. I think it was when there were cellphones,' she said.

'I did one time date this out of work actor. I think this was before Sex and the City. Maybe between Melrose and Sex and the City or maybe when I was on Melrose. I don't know. 'He's now very successful. He’s very talented. But at the time, I had money because I had been working.'.
