Kristin Davis has revealed a surprise Kennedy family member was supposed to be in Sex and the City's first ever bedroom scene. The actress, 59, who has played Charlotte York in the series, two films and spin-off And Just Like That... was joined by actress Sarah Wynter, who played English journalist Elizabeth in the show's 1998 pilot on her podcast, Are You A Charlotte.
The now iconic show began with Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw narrating the doomed love affair between Elizabeth and investment banker Tim played by Scott Bryce. Tim ghosts Elizabeth after months of apparently serious dating, with the show's first ever sex scene taking place between the pair.
Wynter revealed John Kennedy Jr.'s cousin Christopher Lawford was originally set to play toxic bachelor Tim. She said: 'I remember the person that they had cast to play the boyfriend was not the person that wound up getting the job on set, So, I was surprised when I got on set. They had cast Christopher Lawford, who was John Kennedy Jr.’s cousin.
