League One clash postponed 22 minutes before kick-off with thousands of fans inside stadium

CRAWLEY TOWN'S clash with Charlton Athletic has been postponed due to poor weather. The League One game was due to kick-off at 3pm. The New Years Day match didn't pass it's second pitch inspection. Crawley Town's X account had earlier wrote: "The referee is going to take a further look at the pitch ahead of kick-off as the rain continues to pour here in West Sussex.".
