Are you getting overwhelmed with all the premium gaming handhelds on the market? Well, you're in luck because the budget-friendly Lenovo Legion Go S is here and available to pre-order. The Lenovo Legion Go S is the latest gaming handheld to hit the market, joining a host of new devices announced at CES 2025. Despite being the first officially licensed handheld powered by SteamOS, this particular version of the Legion Go S, which has a black shell, isn't set to hit the shelves until April 2025. But the Windows 11 version of Lenovo's new handheld, which is differentiated by its white design, can be purchased right now at a range of retailers we've rounded up below.

Thanks to its smaller, but still pretty powerful, processing power, the Lenovo Legion Go S is a budget-friendly option, coming in at £600 / $599 / AU$1,299, putting it in direct competition with the Steam Deck. There's no confirmed Lenovo Legion Go S release date; however, the website states that the device will be shipped around the end of January in the UK.

When getting hands-on with it at CES 2025, I found that using the device was a super pleasant experience. The adjusted design keeps the device portable at just 740g, all while still providing excellent performance thanks to the brand-new AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor. However, it can be configured up to an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme.
