Kate gave her first interview about the One Direction star's tragic death earlier this week, speaking about her decision to leave Liam in Argentina, where he died after falling from the balcony of his third floor hotel room.
Speaking to This Morning's Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Clemmie - who spoke to Kate for the piece - said: "Her team approached me in December and said, 'She is thinking about doing this, are you interested?'
Kate burst into tears during the interview, revealing that she chose to return to Florida days before Liam's death to look after their dog.
Kate added that she has been repeatedly calling Liam's old phone number just to hear his voicemail greeting and vacated the property they once rented in Florida to return to her hometown in New Jersey.
