Lidl has 'done it again' with new Lush-inspired shower gel for £2

Lidl shoppers have spotted a new contender for their favourite shower gel. Some have said it "looks and smells" like a major brand but rings up at the till for a fraction of the cost. Shoppers loved seeing the discount supermarket stock a range of products that seemed to be inspired by popular Lush lines. The £1.99 bottles had similar packaging and names but offered a huge discount of £23 by comparison.
Fans were praising the Lidl range online that included 'Dizzy Rose' and 'Mintilicious Tingle'. Shoppers quickly noticed the similarities between the supermarket's take on the pricer versions. Now, a savvy shopper spotted another member of the line-up with Winter Queen appearing in the usual toiletry section. Many fans were quick to compare the bottle filled with a soft pink gel to Lush's festive bestseller Snow Fairy line.
The 'By Deluxe' packaging states that the £1.99 gel is a "candyfloss-scented experience". It has main notes of strawberry, raspberry, and vanilla, which match the vibe of the Snow Fairy range. A Lidl shopper found the product and shared a photo in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group. Most were pleased to see the new product - especially as fans could have depleted their stocks from Christmas.
One said: "Oh! I need to keep an eye for this Snow Fairy [alternative]!" Another added: "I had a smell of this in the shop and it's gorgeous. Can't wait to try it now!" A third wrote: "I paid 1.79 in my Lidl. Can confirm it smells amazing!" Someone else commented: "I'm obsessed! Need to take a trip to Lidl and find some!".
