Commenting on her on-screen partnership with Dominic Brunt, who plays husband Paddy Kirk, Lisa continued: ‘Paddy and Mandy bring such joy to the show – you can rely on the fact that they’re going to bring you that sprinkle of fun and I love that.
After her appearance in Corrie, Lisa rocked up in Emmerdale as the feisty but loveable Mandy in 1995, before leaving the Dales six years later.
Speaking to The Mirror, Lisa said she has ‘absolutely loved’ her time back on the show, adding: ‘I’ve just signed a new long contract and I’m very happy.’.
Last August, Lisa revealed she is staying put in Emmerdale after signing a new contract.
