Lisandro Martinez and Adama Traore continued their personal rivalry as the pair clashed during Man United's 1-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday evening. The pair took shots at each other earlier this season with Martinez claiming he had sent the powerful winger 'to the gym' during their Premier League opener Old Trafford.

During United's 1-0 victory at Old Trafford, Martinez in one moment of the game was able to hold off Traore, who is regarded as one of the quickest and most powerful players in the Premier League. After the game, Martinez gave a post-match interview in which he told Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher that he 'sent him (Traore) to the gym'.

Posting on Instagram, the Spanish forward sent a six-word reply to the Argentine defender. 'Don't worry we will met [sic] again @lisandromartinezzz,' Fulham's speed merchant wrote with a winking-face emoji. Adama Traore (11) and Lisandro Martinez clashed again during Sunday's game.

Traore had posted this story on Instagram after the last time the pair faced each other. And they did meet again on Sunday with many believing Martinez was lucky not to be sent off. The United defender went in on the Fulham man with his studs up but escaped without a booking.
