Logan Paul has labelled former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor 'sad' following their recent encounter in Washington. The pair, along with Logan's younger brother Jake Paul, bumped into each other last month. Many fans were left stunned when Jake uploaded a picture to social media alongside his older brother and the Irishman. It seemed as if all three were respectful towards each other during their run-in, but things took a turn for the worse after 'The Notorious' threatened to slap the Paul brothers.

In a recent video uploaded to his official Youtube channel, Logan provided his fans with a closer look as to how the interaction played out. Now, the 29-year-old has further commented on the meet-up with 'The Notorious,' claiming that there was a time he would've been afraid to cross paths with the Irishman, but that wasn't the case in Washington. During the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast, he said: “I watched back that footage of Conor talking s*** to us. He said he’s going to slap me, Jake and KSI and then you can see me and Jake like belly laugh. We’re fully laughing at what used to be one of the scariest, baddest men on the planet.

“As a person who used to be a big fan of Conor McGregor, like back in the day he pioneered crossover boxing, all of that stuff, I watched it back and I actually felt sad. I was like this is a statement that at one point would have actually made us feel fear and now two YouTubers are laughing at this washed up, cracked out fighter, who’s unhinged and there’s no truth in what he’s saying.”. Sensationally, the WWE star revealed that he and his brother found out they were sharing the same bus as the 36-year-old just moments before they were due to make their way to the vehicle. “They stuck us on a bus together like some sort of f*****g high school field trip,” Paul continued. “We were told McGregor was going to pull up like moments [before it happened]. Like ‘just so you know, McGregor’s on the same bus.’ It’s 7 a.m. Jake and I are looking at each other like dude, what are you thinking? This is a horrible idea.

“We all came to the conclusion that this is a bigger mission at play here, Donald Trump’s inauguration, let’s behave as best as we can. Today we’re going to sign as much of a peace treaty as we can. McGregor was very respectful [but] very cracked out, the guy’s got issues. He’s got issues. He’s so entertaining but he has so much energy at 7:30 a.m. … he’s permanently wired.”. Last month, McGregor went viral online after uploading a post to X - formerly known as Twitter - to reveal that he was in talks to fight Logan inside the boxing ring. "The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon," he wrote.

That said, it appears that a potential showdown between the pair is now off the cards after McGregor claimed that the UFC stopped it from happening. “It is what it is,” McGregor told “The Schmo”. “The UFC just aren’t into it. The offer was there on the table, in writing. Both athletes will say, ‘He’s not fighting,’ but both athlete are under the TKO banner. UFC, WWE both rising up. The stock price of TKO Holding Ground (is) through the roof. New market in India opened up and booming. It was business savvy, and business sense to make the fight happen. Or should I say the glorified spar happen.
