The presenter, 55, took to Instagram to share that she suffered a terrifying health ordeal at the end of last year.
Andrea explained that in December she came down with the flu, but things got progressively worse.
'I didn't see THAT coming...,' she wrote as she attached a stock picture of an unwell dog.
