A second commented: "Luke Littler was playing a few fans last night on the Target Omni, it’s safe to say he’s playing well.
Littler did have some legs in which he averaged under 100 but, in one game, he never finished a leg in more than 14 darts.
He has been diligent in his practice and has even challenged his fans to online darts matches using a £450 Omni auto-scoring system.
Littler, 17, will be keeping an eye on the opening rounds of the tournament that starts TONIGHT when big rival and reigning champ Luke Humphries begins his defence.
