She told her followers that her daughter, Loretta, has been requiring assistance from the NHS for her health problems recently and gave thanks to those who looked after her in hospital.
Lydia showed that she had taken a book to hospital to read to her daughter, and she shared a page from the book with her followers.
The TV personality also spoke about the care that her daughter received in hospital and praised the NHS despite being "far from perfect".
