Another fan raved about his performance, saying: "I recently saw Man On The Moon and after getting into it for a bit you stop thinking it's Jim Carrey and truly feel like it's Andy himself portraying the role.".
"Jim had said during an interview about what he was doing to prepare for the role and mentioned that one day he was sitting in a restaurant looking out into the window and pondering how could he be ready as an actor to play Andy.".
Despite the initial box office flop, his portrayal of cult comedian Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon has won over the critics and is now hailed as one of Carrey's finest performances.
"Then he said to himself that it was a sign and proceeded to study Andy to the point he method acted some parts and literally became Andy so he could let justice be done to this movie.
