A SECTION of a busy Scottish motorway has been closed this morning after a man was spotted with a possible weapon. The M8 is shut at junction 6 eastbound for Newhouse and Chapelhall in North Lanarkshire. Police raced to the scene on the slip road after the alarm was raised at around 8.55am.
