A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a woman died in Luton on Monday. Bedfordshire Police said the man from Luton was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He currently remains in police custody where he is being questioned by officers.

In a statement, Bedfordshire Police said a 46-year-old woman was injured at a property in Turners Road North at around 11.45am. She was taken to hospital, where she later died.
