Man rushed to hospital after shooting near Croydon's Whitgift Centre A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in Croydon.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.43pm on Monday 10 February to reports of a shooting on High Street, Croydon.
Police were called to reports of a man being shot and a firearms discharge in Park Street near the Whitgift shopping centre.
The London Ambulance Service said they were called minutes later to a shooting on Croydon High Street.
“We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and a clinical team manager.
