However, the forward has since failed to live up to expectations as he has only managed a mere 12 goals and five assists in 94 appearances with the Red Devils. Antony struggled under former Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag, who helped him rise to prominence at Ajax beforehand.

And the Brazilian has also been unable to flip the switch under new boss Ruben Amorim. That has led to only one goal in 12 appearances across all competitions this season, during which he has been unable to start a single Premier League game. According to Sky Sports, the Manchester giants are keen to offload Antony and are discussing a potential loan deal with other clubs.
