Manchester United players have begun their journey down to London for Sunday's mouthwatering FA Cup tie with Arsenal. United and their old rivals will lock horns once again at The Emirates in the pick of this weekend's third round ties. And with both fanbases desperate for silverware, strong teams are expected to be named.
Ruben Amorim has already alluded to the fact that he is not planning to make wholesale changes after United's impressive display against Liverpool last weekend. As per a new report from The Manchester Evening News, Amorim has been true to his judging by United's travelling party. Marcus Rashford was not pictured, though, among the travelling party and would therefore not appear to be in the matchday squad.
Amorim had suggested Rashford, who is expected to leave Old Trafford this month, was available for selection after the 27-year-old missed last weekend's draw with Liverpool. But with the forward's representatives holding talks in Europe this week over a potential loan move, it appears Rashford will not be featuring against Arsenal.
Plenty of recognisable faces were snapped getting ready for the journey to London, though. No.2 goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was among them and Amorim has already confirmed the Turkish shot-stopper will play ahead of Andre Onana. Young midfielder Toby Collyer is another player who was spotted and could feature for United, who will be bidding to retain the trophy they won in spectacular fashion last year against their neighbours, Manchester City.
