United last lost more than six of their opening 12 home league games in 1893-94 - when they were beaten seven times. Boss Ruben Amorim has managed to earn just 11 points from his opening 11 league matches in charge of the Red Devils.

Following his side's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle earlier this month, the Portuguese admitted that relegation was a "possibility". And after today's latest setback, he claimed that they are being the "worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United".
