MANCHESTER Airport cops have been filmed punching and kicking a man as he was pinned to the floor. The video - taken at around 1pm on Sunday - has emerged just days after two officers were cleared over another brawl at the airport. Two officers were allegedly punched to the ground in the July 23 fight which saw passenger Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 19, kicked in the head as he and his brother Muhammad Amaad, 25, were restrained.
The two brothers have now been charged over the airport chaos this summer, but the two cops probed over the same incident will not face charges. Yesterday's footage shows an officer appearing to punch the man four times and kick him twice to the stomach area.
The officers are understood to have been called to reports of a "drunk and disorderly" man at a bus station outside the airport after he was refused entry on to public transport. One officer arrived at the scene and is said to have attempted to arrest the man, before colleagues came in to assist.
A scuffle ensued, before the footage shows one cop holding the man's head, a second pinning down his feet and a third kneeling on top of him. The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly. A GMP spokesperson said: "We are currently reviewing a video published online showing the arrest of a man at Manchester Airport’s bus terminal yesterday afternoon.
