Follow Mail Sport's live blog for the latest live score, team news and updates as Manchester United host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League plus updates from Brentford vs Tottenham. By Harry Bamforth. For once, there is actually a positive feel around Manchester United... I know, it's quite strange. The Red Devils have been having their worst Premier League season on record, and have been bashed by people like me every week.

But now, the tide is actually turning. United have won their last three games in all competitions, keeping back-to-back clean sheets. Don't get me wrong, they haven't exactly played magical football, but they have become a much harder team to beat. Ruben Amorim has them set up well, teams are finding it hard to break them down while United are actually starting to be clinical up top. But there is no need to get ahead of ourselves, this was the feeling after a good start to the year and then they were beaten at home by Brighton.

I mean, it's clear that United's confidence is starting to grow, but they will remember all the pain Crystal Palace have inflicted on them in the past. These are the types of games the Red Devils need to start performing in, otherwise, they will just stay rooted in the bottom half of the table. Win today though, and their confidence will only grow more. Right then, you now know everything that happened yesterday, so I reckon it's time to take a look at today's menu.

Sundays always seem to be stacked this season and this afternoon is no different. there are some really good games on. Here is the schedule:. Where to start?. I mean, to say some of the results yesterday were mental would be underselling things a little bit. It was a pretty bonkers afternoon. We simply have to start at the City Ground where Nottingham Forest took on Brighton in the early kick-off. Going into the game I was expecting a tight affair between two sides fighting to get into Europe next fair. What actually unfolded was an absolute beating, it was brutal.

Forest smashed seven past the Seagulls, with Chris Wood netting a hat-trick, and Anthony Elanga notching up three assists. It was the perfect response to their 5-0 defeat last week at Bournemouth. Speaking of the Cherries, many expected them to prove a really tough test for league leaders Liverpool, given they had beaten pretty much all of their title rivals at the Vitality Stadium this season. Andoni Iraola's side did give the Reds a rough time of it, but in the end, Liverpool just managed to get the job done thanks to a brace from none other than Mohamed Salah.

It was one of those results that just makes you believe it is really their year. They now sit nine points clear having played the same amount of games as Arsenal, who face Manchester City later. Elsewhere, Newcastle were stunned at home yet again, this time by Fulham who came from a goal down to beat the Magpies. Meanwhile, there were wins for Southampton (I still can't believe it), Everton, and Wolves.

All caught up now?. Well, if you aren't then I can no longer help you... sorry. Is it already Sunday?. This week has absolutely flown by quicker than me when I am late for work (which doesn't happen ever, I swear). We have been treated to a smashing six days of footie so far, whether that be in Europe or domestically. There have been thrashings, comebacks, VAR drama (when isn't there), and thankfully no bore draws. The perfect week.

And now we end it with an absolute belter of a day. The main event comes at the Emirates later when Arsenal and Manchester City resume their recent bitter rivalry. But first, we have to attend to battles at booth Old Trafford and the Ctech Community Stadium. Manchester United are looking to continue their recent resurgence at home against Crystal palace, who normally cause them a problem or two, while Tottenham travel to Brentford desperate for a league win.
