Marcus Rashford has been omitted from a Manchester United squad for the fourth straight match. The Red Devils welcome Wolves to Old Trafford on Boxing Day and will look to return to winning ways without the 27-year-old, whose future at the club is uncertain.
Rashford was left out of United's derby day clash against Manchester City earlier this month before the release of a bombshell interview, in which he claimed he was ready for a new challenge. Despite comments from the United boss Ruben Amorim indicating that the winger could have a route back into his side, the Portuguese has left the England international out of squads for matches against Tottenham, Bournemouth and now Wolves.
Rashford's controversial revelation last week led to Amorim to suggest that it was not the Manchester native's decision to give the interview, as he questioned his entourage. Marcus Rashford has been left out of the Manchester United squad for the fourth straight match.
Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim had indicated that the forward wants to return to action following his bombshell admission in a recent interview. 'It is a hard situation,' said the United boss. 'I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and they sometimes make choices that are not the first idea from the player. I understand, I can separate things.
